about me

My name is Neil Abramowitz. I was born on July 26, 2002 in Bethesda, Maryland. Since then, I have spent most of my life being involved in sports, especially hockey. I played baseball my entire life and hockey since I was 8, and was always on a competitive team. I also consider myself to be a diehard Capitals and Nationals fan. In addition to sports, I love meeting new people and making friends. I attended Walt Whitman High School and graduated in 2020. After that, I went on to go to the University of Maryland, College Park, where I joined the Scholars program. Although things have been significantly different this year with all the COVID-19 restrictions in place, I have still been able to meet and connect with other kids in the program. I cannot wait to spend more time at school and build relationships with my peers. Additionally, I am significantly looking forward to displaying my school spirit by attending football, basketball, and other sports' games when in person activities resume. I am excited to continue to meet students from Scholars and learn alongside them for the next four years.
